Wage Whiplash

Earlier this summer, we got bombarded with messages and emails from people wanting to know if it was true that Missouri snatched back a wage increase from the lowest-paid workers in St. Louis. Short answer? Yes. But today’s show isn’t about that short answer. It’s about the long one, the story of HOW and WHY the city is locked in this battle. And, it’s about the growing movement to keep up the fight to raise the standard of living for thousands of low-wage workers in this state — which now centers a lot on regular people working to get the raise back.
